Join a team of professional organizers and activists to make REAL change in our communities! We must hold our policy makers accountable to serving the PEOPLE, protecting the ENVIRONMENT, and upholding JUSTICE. We are leading the charge to protect EPA pollution standards. We knock on doors in neighborhoods of Austin and other parts of Central Texas to educate and motivate people face to face, organizing Americans to TAKE ACTION for our clean water, our health, and our communities. We are motivating citizens to join as members of Clean Water Action, write letters, sign postcards, and make phone calls to hold elected officials accountable, and raise funds to continue the movement and fight dirty corporate money!
Currently hiring part-time. Flexible scheduling is perfect for those needing extra income, stay at home parents, or anyone who has extra time on their hands.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE GRASSROOTS ORGANIZING AND FUNDRAISING
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Motivation to work on political and environmental campaigns
- Strong communication skills and confidence
FIELD CANVASS TEAM:
3:30-10:00 PM work hours. Monday - Thursday
2:30-9:00 PM Friday
COMPENSATION:
Up to $12-$15/HR, plus bonus.
