Meals on Wheels Central Texas is seeking a temporary Congregate Production Assistant to help the Congregate Senior Center Program in the production of emergency shelf stable meals. This position supports drive-through food distributions as well as client intake, with additional emergency relief tasks as assigned. This position works a varying schedule up to 15 hours per week including occasional weekend hours as needed. Typical days worked are Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays with occasional work done on Tuesdays and Thursdays when needed. This is a temporary position. Duties may change or end at any time with or without notice. $12.00/hour.

Skills/Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent
Experience working with people in a group setting, including volunteer experience
Good interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to follow verbal instructions
Ability to work regularly in a group setting
Timeliness and consistency in the performance of daily duties
Ability to work independently exercising good judgement
Ability to complete some paperwork in an accurate and timely manner
Ability to lift 20 lbs.
Ability to stand and/or walk for up to 3 hours at a time
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to repetitive motion, bending, lifting, reaching, pushing and/or pulling
