Matr Boomie, a sustainable lifestyle product and gift wholesale brand, is seeking an Operations Manager to join our team. This is a full-time position located at our Austin, TX office. Established in 2006.
Matr Boomie is a for-profit company with the mission of creating economic and social well-being for marginalized producer communities in India through responsible trade. We sell a full line of consumer products to more than 1,000 retail customers ranging from large well-known chains (such as National Geographic, Disney, and Whole Foods) to local independently owned stores, both online and in store. Job Responsibilities:
- Picking, packing and labeling outbound shipments
- Receiving and putting away inbound shipments
- Inventory counts and quality control
- Restocking and organizing of products and materials
- Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
- Removing recyclables and debris
Skills Required
- Basic math and computer skills
· Exceptional ability to be detail oriented and organized
· Good communication skills
· Inclination towards sustainability, knowledge & experience of Fair Trade practices
· Experience working in a diverse work environment
· Someone not afraid to get their hands dirty
