This position can be telecommute. Schwab Technology Services is in need of a Senior Security Application Developer within our Schwab Cybersecurity Services organization. As a Application Security Developer in Schwab Cybersecurity Services, you will review code for compliance with company-wide security standards, assist development teams with security issues, help develop reusable code and other tasks as assigned. What you are good at- Work with internal clients and subject matter experts to identify opportunities and design solutions to improve automation. Implement automation to eliminate manual steps in our application security workflows.
- Design, maintain and document supporting data elements, data flows and databases and, when needed, arranged for the required data storage or compute platforms.
- Develop and maintain metrics, reports and dashboards in support of both application security operational and risk reduction objectives.
- Work with partner organizations to design, improve, validate, host and/or report metrics, reports and dashboards.
- At least 2 years of experience in development and deployment of automation solution including experience integrating various products and solutions via real-time APIs and/or data integration.
- At least 4 years of experience in scripting/programming.
- Strong proficiency with Python, Postman, Excel, Jira, Tableau, SQL.
- Proficiency in metrics/dashboard design and implementation.
- Highly organized, detailed-oriented with strong analytical skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively, gather and synthesize requirements from stakeholders and work as part of a team.
- Excellent documentation skills.
- Bachelor's Degree in computer science or related field is preferred
