Schwab Technology Services needs a Senior Security Application Architect within our Schwab Cybersecurity Services organization. In this role you will handle management of product and service life cycle, Engineering, and tier 3 critical issue support. You will develop and design new security solutions and integrate technologies into existing services to reduce risk and align business requirements with security standards. As well as deliver guidelines and best techniques for security services based on security standards/policies. You provide customers with domain expertise, consultation, and support. Maintains and supports security technology infrastructures. Handles vendor relationship, maintains roadmaps, and supports vendor issues. What you are good atDuties require an experienced application security architect, who understands both application security and software development. Responsibilities include application secure design reviews, threat modeling, review of proposed mitigations to threats and vulnerabilities and working closely with software developers and architects to build secure designs and reusable security patterns. You will help own the enterprise threat modeling program as well establish and maintain technical application security standards.- Product lifecycle management

- Minimum of 5 - 8 years of application security experience within an enterprise environment.
- Working experience with Threat Modeling technologies
- Ability to read and understand Java and .NET.
- Must have a proven understanding and experience implementing industry standard security concepts and operational tools.
- Sophisticated level knowledge of security technologies including Authentication, Authorization, Access Controls, Data Protection, Cloud Security, Mobile Application Security, OWASP.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Supports and helps team members to meet goals
- Ability to set clear goals/direction and gather the vital support from team members or vendors to ensure that these goals are met/followed
- Preference will be given to candidates with prior experience as developer or software architect
