- Manage and lead front-end development UI/UX team efforts
- Design, code, test and debug complex software while developing new functionality and enhancing existing functionality to fulfill business requirements
- Design work that includes a broader project/system scope
- Develop detailed specifications to guide how applications will be designed, written, coded, tested, and debugged
- Confer with business partners and product owners to define requirements and software design
- Work closely with QA team, TPM, and other developers
- Evaluate feasibility and make recommendations
- Support, maintain, and document software functionality
- Provide operational support on complex/escalated issues to diagnose and resolve incidents in production systems
- Assist team members and provide technical guidance
- Mentor less experienced team members
- Bachelor's degree strongly preferred
- At least 5 years of experience in a similar software development environment
- UI/UX design experience
- Experience with front-end frameworks such as AngularJS
- Experience with Visual Design
- Ability to work on all phases of development within broadly assigned technical disciplines
- Proficient in multiple modern design tools, including InVision
- In depth understanding of Design Patterns
- Ability to translate conceptual ideas into projects and tasks
- Customer oriented
- Ability to translate business needs to technical requirements
- Proficiency in unit testing and TDD a plus
- Experience or willing to gain experience participating in XP (extreme programming) methodologies a plus
