- You will work closely with the development team and business partners to plan, create and execute manual and automated software testing activities.
- The right candidate will have expertise with QA best practices and have proven experience performing all QA-related functions such as vetting requirements, creating Test Plans and test cases, executing test cases, creating automation scripts, and reviewing regression results etc.
- Identify automation test strategies and tools required to drive efficiencies for FLEX, Develop and implement Test Automation Frameworks for business-critical products,
- Assist other automation engineers in maintaining the frameworks,
- Participate in all aspects of automation testing including establishing metrics,
- applying industry best practices and developing new tools and processes to ensure quality goals are met,
- Develop testing scenarios/cases to address areas such as database impacts, software scenarios, regression testing, boundary/negative testing, usability, Influence,
- develop and execute QA process and testing best practices, including the identification, isolation and re-creating bugs and code deficiencies to improve code quality, production readiness and availability,
- Drive continuous integration and deployment strategies leveraging tools like Jenkins/Bamboo with a DevOps philosophy,
- Establish standards and best practices for use within the Agile Scrum methodology.
- Define and track quality assurance metrics such as defect densities and open defect counts and Able to work independently and in team environments.
- Experience in Quality Assurance for highly complex projects related to Cloud or distributed platform, or mainframe batch applications.
- Experience in building and maintaining test automation frameworks Selenium, Selenium Grid, Protractor, HP Load Runner, Visual Studio or Parasoft SOATest
- Experience in C# or C, Developing with C#, Node.js, .net, JavaScript or Powershell
- Experience with Selenium, Selenium Grid, Protractor, HP Load Runner, Visual Studio or Parasoft SOA Test
- Experience with Oracle, SQL, MongoDB, transfer, or data delivery technologies
- Experience with open-source test automation tools
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem solving/decision making skills
- Team player with excellent communication skills to partner technically with Application Architects, Development, QA/Testers, and Business partners
- Experience with Agile Development Practices, Scrum and supporting apps: Microsoft Test Manager (MTM), Jira, and GIT, Atlassian stack
- Proficiency with testing web services using SOAP tools, performance testing,
- experience in cloud computing a plus (UFT, Selenium, Junit, SOAP UI etc.)
- Experience with financial services and Billing applications is a plus
- You will also have good and broad technical skills, with a practical knowledge of OOP and distributed environments: .Net or Java, XML, web services (SOAP and REST);
- Have solid knowledge of SQL, T-SQL, PL/SQL.
- Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
