- Owns and coordinates the testing efforts for automated activities across supported applications
- Provides framework solutions for application teams to use and to develop standards on their use, for example helping implement the Page Object Model or BDD
- Take the lead to help direct and maintain status meetings for other Software Test Engineers.
- Gathers and provides metrics on business process, test results for manual and automated test suites, and presents them to stakeholders
- Provide training on framework updates, process decisions, and improvements
- Creates, reviews and approves updates to the automation framework(s)
- Creation and maintenance of API automated testing framework
- Creation and maintenance of reporting structure that spans, Unit, API, UI, and Mobile testing outputs using a Dashboard health mentality
- Responsible for creating, updating, and maintaining an object-oriented automation structure
- Help create and direct the performance testing for load, stress, and isolated testing
- Maintain and make updates to the CI/CD pipeline strategy, help train team members on strategy, proven approaches, and best practices
- Responsible for integrating automation libraries and third-party systems to enhance and improve the automation framework
- Responsible for reviewing and approving automation merge requests
- Work in a Kanban agile delivery team that supports Scrum teams and their deliveries.
- Understands the challenges that delivery and operations teams face in their day-to-day work and partner with them to design viable solutions
- Recommends improvements to testing processes, technology, and interfaces that improve the effectiveness of testing teams and reduce technical debt

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent combination of industry-related professional experience
- 5+ years of working experience in an STLC or SDLC environment
- Working experience with CI/CD pipelines
- Working experience with designing and upgrading automation frameworks
- Working experience with Software License Agreements
- Working experience with regulatory standards testing processes
- Working experience of reporting and automated historical data analysis
- Working experience in Micro services architecture and testing restful APIs
- Working knowledge of performance test strategies on web or mobile applications
- Working knowledge of automated testing frameworks such as Selenium or Appium
- Working knowledge of coding standards and best practices in an SDLC
- Working knowledge of language libraries, package managers, and shell scripting
- Working knowledge of delivering products in an engineering, operations, or release role
- Working knowledge of development lifecycle methodologies (e.g. waterfall, agile, iterative)
- Working knowledge in analysis, design and programming
