Summary of Role\: We are looking for a Software Engineer who will be part of a creative team that is responsible for all aspects of software development, from initial specification and design, development, testing, and release. This position is based in Austin Texas, with flexibility to work remotely a few days per week. Essential Responsibilities include\:
- Design develop and test software applications to support Tapeout Operations.
- Producing detailed design documentation.
- Build reusable code/libraries, following best practices
- Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders
- Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs
- Access to secure / sensitive data - applicant to already have a 'secret' US Gov clearance in place or willing to obtain it

- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering or equivalent with 5-10 years of professional experience
- Experience in Software Development of Java Applications under JBOSS EAP 7
- Excellent technical problem-solving skills
- Experience with Object design and architecture
- Good attitude and interpersonal skills, tactful and works well in a team environment
- Willingness and ability to work with global team
- Agile development methodology
- Experience performing system integration in homogeneous and heterogeneous environments.
- Maven, Eclipse
- DB2, Oracle, and MySQL Experience
- Experience with JSP and struts
- Continuous integration within the Atlassian suite of tools
- Experience in Semiconductor Domain beneficial
- Experience with a modern web framework such as react.js helpful
- Experience with scripting languages helpful (Korn Shell, Python, and perl) on Linux platform
- Linux skills with a good working knowledge of command line operations, shell scripts, crons and performance monitoring
