Join our fast growing teamWe are seeking anÂexperienced Software Engineer, PHP developer with a strong attention to detail and background writing unit tests. Primary responsibilities will include manual code review; creation of automated tests for existing and future PHP projects developed with Laravel; and assisting with defining new development tasks and projects. ÂKnowledge in development of eCommerce would be helpful.ÂKey Quantifiable IndicatorsÂA minimum of 3 - 5 years experience in each of the following languages:HTMLCSSSASSJavaScriptPHPLaravelRedisAbility to read code and anticipate potential consequences and areas of impactStrong understanding of PHP Unit or similar testing frameworkAbility to write effective unit tests which can be used to accelerate deployment timeframesUnderstanding of common web application vulnerabilities and remediationGeneral understanding of CI pipelines a plusResponsibilitiesÂAssist with the creation of project outlines; whitepapers; ERDs; documentation; and RFPs, as neededCollaborating with developers and project managers to determine workload priorities and timelinesManual code review and testing pull requests from developersThoroughly documenting requirements, bugs and potential issues along with replication steps and/or negative impactCreation of unit tests for new and current, Laravel-based, web applicationsAssisting with development of new web applications, as-neededAssisting with testing new package releases and updating product code basesRequirements:BS in Computer Science (or equivalent work experience)Thrives in fast paced team environmentÂExamples projects you will work onSaaS storefront developed in Laravel 5.2ETL platform developed in Laravel 5.7ETL platform developed in vanilla PHPWhy do you want to work here?We have a fun and relaxed, but "get-it-done" work environment.Hats, jeans, t-shirts, flip flops, and shorts are normal attire.
