Zachary Piper Solutions is looking for a Sr. ISR Software Developer to join our application team that supports and develops next generation ISR (Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance) applications for customer. You will be contributing to the design and implementation of complex distributed scalable web-based applications that directly supports the mission.
Location: Austin, Texas - Fully remote until mid year 2022 - Remote schedule continues with one to two days on site Responsibilities:- Contribute to ongoing ramp up on DevOps practices
- Design and implement server based infrastructure and modernized web based applications
- Research cutting-edge technology to integrate solutions for web-based and desktop applications
- Collaborate with technical engineers and analysts to develop, analyze, and to decide on what capabilities enhancements are needed with the applications and systems
- Collaborate with development and test teams to qualify performance and quality related metrics
- Guide Jr. and Mid level Developers to promote knowledge sharing and collaboration efforts in areas where they need assistance
- DoD Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI security clearance
- Bachelors or equivalent in Computer Science or in a technical field
- 10+ years of software development experience: Primarily Java
- A core understanding of complex software design concepts
- Experience supporting military and government programs
- Scripting Languages: Java and Python
- Experience with Java back end, JavaScript front end and Agile methodologies
- Background in web technologies
- Experience with REACT framework
- Experience with database programming
- Experience with cloud technologies
- Experience or exposure with Linux
- Experience or exposure to MATLAB
- An active TS/SCI security clearance
- Salary: $120,000 - $190,000 - Depending on years of experience and technical assessment
