Mechanic needed working on Electric Vehicles (only).
The Role:
This is a part-time on-site role for an EV Technician at Austin EV Only. The EV Technician will be responsible for performing repairs and maintenance on electric vehicles, diagnosing and troubleshooting issues, conducting inspections, and providing excellent customer service. The role requires working at our location in the Austin, Texas Metropolitan Area, we do NOT sponsor H1B Visa.
Qualifications
Experience in electric vehicle repair and maintenance
Knowledge of electric vehicle systems and components
Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues
Experience in performing inspections and conducting repairs
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent problem-solving skills
Good communication and customer service skills
Availability for full-time or part-time work. (We are open M-F 9a - 4:30p) I'm not looking for a tech outside of these hours
\ Valid TX driver's license (This one is required)

Austin EV Only is Austin's only 3rd party repair shop for electric vehicles, specializing in out-of-warranty vehicles such as Tesla, Nissan Leaf, Fisker Ocean, Fiat 500e, Chevy Volt, and more. We provide repair services by appointment only, ensuring personalized attention and exceptional customer service.
Compensation: 35 - 45$/hour with previous repair experience at a major EV manufacture (e.g. Tesla, Rivian, Polestar, Fisker, etc.) This can be a part-time or full-time position.
We also have an opening for a lube-tech level person at $15 - 22/hour depending on experience.
