Then we might be a good match.

We are a growing, highly rated, Central Texas commercial/residential remodel general contractor (A+ rated on BBB and 5 Star rating on Home Advisor). The reason that we are highly rated is because of our people. If you would like to be part of a team where everyone has the attributes listed above, then we might be a good match. We are looking for a long term relationship.

Our company is unusual in that we offer a 5 year warranty on our workmanship. We stand by our work and also ask our people to stand by THEIR work. This requires extreme confidence in the quality of your craftsmanship. Integrity and commitment are crucial which means every person in the company has to be on board with that. Our clients demand (and pay for) quality and are not of the "as cheap as I can get it" crowd. This also means that we treat people's homes like their castles.

Our goal is to create a mutually beneficial environment where we both flourish. We treat people with respect and integrity and ask for the same in return. We ask for a lot, but we also give alot. Our pay is above average for Central Texas. We have a history of giving unasked for raises. We believe that family is important and so are flexible with scheduling when the need is communicated.

The following criteria are essential. If you consider yourself to be a highly skilled journeyman, you must

be highly skilled in multiple trades, including AT LEAST four of the following:

1) drywall/tape & float/texture work

2) framing/rough carpentry

3) millwork and/or finish carpentry

4) tile work

5) flooring

6) electrical

7) plumbing

return text messages & phone calls

have your own reliable transportation (truck/SUV required, not a passenger car)

have your own tools (at least some of them)

and most importantly, have good problem solving skills (MacGuyer work)

While the following skills are not essential, they would certainly be of additional value

1) concrete work

2) stonework/masonry

3) painting (all types)

4) metal working/welding

5) roofing

Please note that at this time, we are also looking for one lower/medium skilled worker who wants to learn. If you fit this category, please note it in your e-mail.

Pay is weekly and is based on what you bring to the table. The more of the above skills you excel at, the more you get paid. We want this to be a win for you also, and if you only excel at only 1 or 2 skills, it would be difficult to keep you working full-time and/or you might not make as much as you want.

The attributes are non-negotiable. If you are highly skilled, but are rude, grouchy, or condescending to clients and/or co-workers, show up late consistently, or spend half the day texting on your phone, it is a no go. Our people are hard working and it would not be respectful to them.

ALL new workers go through a trial period (usually around 2 weeks) regardless of previous experience. We do this because we have had over 50 men in the last two years start for us who have been in the industry over 20 years and ended up not being as skilled as they thought they were. At some point during the trial period we do an evaluation to determine skill set and future pay. Note that we do have 3 men in our company who are making over $35 per hour and we are itching to find more of them. We have another man who is making $7/hr more than he started at a year ago because he set his ego aside, chose to apply himself and increase his skills. We WANT to pay those amounts, but you have to be worth it.

Please understand and respect what it written here. We are not looking for someone with a limited skill set or someone who will say anything to get a job. Our primary work area is from Kyle in the south to Georgetown in the north. We also do work in Dripping Springs & Cedar Park. We occasionally work in places out of our main coverage area (San Antonio, Marble Falls, Spicewood, etc) and pay travel when we do.

Although we do not care what ethnicity you are, passable English is a must (bonus points for being bi-lingual). Also, we do not care what gender or orientation you are, as long as you can get the job done.

If you want to be part of building a company for the long term, you will be right at home here. E-mailing your information or resume is a good start and encouraged. We will be conducting interviews all week, but even if you read this after that period of time, it is still a good idea to e-mail your info so that we have it on file.

You MUST be able to pass a drug test.

Please send an e-mail BEFORE calling with your skills, tools, and vehicle type.

You may contact us by phone at (512) 253-7377 or by text at (951) 756-1402.
