The Container Delivery Driver will receive work assignments from dispatch under the direction of the department manager. This position will operate a variety of equipment, including truck, trailer and forklift and comply with all federal, state and local regulations and company policies. The Container Delivery Driver will load, unload, secure and transport commercial containers to and from customer locations and perform minor repairs in the field.
High School Diploma or equivalent and one year of related medium or heavy truck driving experience and/or specialized training;
Excellent heavy truck driving skills;
Ability to work independently with minimal or no supervision;
Ability to have positive and professional demeanor;
Ability to independently operate commercial motor vehicles;
Ability to perform basic math functions; and
Ability to effectively communicate in English and to read, write, and understand written and spoken English
Valid Texas Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
Record of safe driving for the last five years as shown on current MVR, with no serious accidents or traffic violations
Valid medical card or the ability to obtain one
