Full Stack Java Developer for our high tech giant client located in

Austin, TX for a

Contract position.

Qualifications:
  • 7 - 10 years overall Software Engineer/Developer experience.
  • Balance in frontend vs backend- 50% / 50%
  • At least 5 years’ experience with OO Java programming.
  • Strong experience in server side Java, J2EE, ORM, RESTful services
  • Experience with Scala
  • Spring MVC, Spring Boot with Micro services, Spring AOP, Spring JDBC and Spring transactions.
  • Demonstrated expertise in multi-tiered application development, and familiarity with design considerations such as Service Oriented Architecture (SOA), performance, scalability, re-usability and flexibility.
  • Design patterns
  • RDBMS and familiarity with NoSQL databases
  • Knowledge of HTML, XML, Mustache, CSS, JavaScript, and JS Libraries
  • Familiarity with AWS
  • Proven ability to manage deadlines
  • Ability to support multiple projects at the same time.
  • Must be a self-starter and comfortable with a start-up like environment.
  • Familiarity with developing and consuming RESTful services.
  • Familiarity with Maven and Git
  • Experience with unit testing frameworks
