Red Oak Technology is seeking a
WebMaster for our high tech giant client located in Austin, TX for a Contract position. NOTE: If selected for this position, you are required to perform ALL work within a commutable distance of your assigned Worksite Location.Responsibilities:- Write and edit website content based on ticketing requests with a focus on lab security and engineering security.
- Conduct peer reviews of website changes.
- Compile Words team’s weekly report for Operations Report.
- Push all website changes to production, including before-and-after QA checks.
- Help team members with technical issues on the website and in HTML, CSS, GitHub, BBEdit, IRMA, etc.
- Compile ad hoc metrics and reports for InfoSec website and Training website.
- Monitor website metrics to detect website problems.
- Help with annual site audit (team-wide effort).
- Monitor overall website content changes to quickly catch accidental typos and formatting issues.
- Document team’s how-to instructions and processes on Confluence.
- Fix minor CSS and template errors on the website
- HTML and CSS experience to fix errors on the Website
- Good experience with Website updates and troubleshooting issues
- Media manipulation experience is a plus (Photoshop, etc.)
- Experience working both autonomously and collaboratively
- Ability to quickly grasp technical concepts and make them easily understandable
- A high degree of accuracy, attention to detail
- Good understanding of information security, networks, firewall, mobile technologies, browsers, and app platforms is plus
