W2 only. No C2C or Sponsorship available.

Description:6 – 9 months. Remote until office reopens, then onsite as required.

Responsibilities:
  • Ownership of the Business Recovery (Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery) process.
  • Maintenance of the existing ISO 27001 ISMS program related to Business Continuity and BCMS.
  • Support for the sites / business units in development, maintenance and testing of the Business Recovery Plans. Writing, updating, and maintaining Corporate and Site level Continuity Plans with focus upon Disaster Recovery Plans and procedures.
  • Collaboration with Corporate and Site Representatives to ensure full and continuing contribution to the overall Continuity Process. Ensuring proper adherence to Continuity policies, procedures and approved Best Practices.
  • Documentation of all aspects of the continuity process. Verification/audit of the processes already put in place.
  • Coordination of regular disaster recovery/business continuity testing as specified in contract requirements and/or defined best practice.
  • Support for internal and external audits and certifications, mostly ISO 27001, WLA, ISO 22301 and PCI. Interface with external auditors and regulatory agencies.
  • Minor portion of assistance in Emergency Response and Crisis Management (in some tests and information exchange).
  • Use of centralized tools related to business continuity area.
  • Trainings, lessons learned meetings and increase of awareness. Ensuring that all Corporate and Site staff is appropriately trained.
  • Documentation and reporting on process owners’ compliance with critical contingency solutions (backups, images, documents / procedures, supporting infrastructure).
  • Showcase Continuity models for potential future business: RFP’s – storyboards etc.
  • Production of regular and accurate management reports based on defined key performance indicators.

Skills & Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field; equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of a degree. Advanced degree a plus
  • At least 2 years of experience in business continuity/disaster recovery
  • Project management skills, including ability to plan, organize, and prioritize multiple projects to ensure target dates and goals are met
  • Familiarity with risk assessment and standards like ISO 27001, ISO 22301, PCI, ISO 20000 a plus
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to travel as required
  • ABCP, CBCP, and/or Information Security certifications a plus
