The University of Texas at Austin School of Nursing, Center for Excellence in Aging Services
and Long-Term Care is seeking Registered Nurses who are interested in gerontology and field-based research. The position title is RN Data Collector, and you will be working on the Nursing
Facility Quality Review (NFQR) study, which is a statewide study on the quality of care and
quality of life in Medicare/Medicaid-certified nursing and assisted living facilities. Your
primary responsibility in this position is to travel to assigned care facilities and collect data via
resident interviews, staff interviews, and chart reviews. A strong emphasis is placed on collecting
the data accurately and efficiently. The job requires significant travel; mileage is reimbursed. This is a temporary contract position, offering no benefits/insurance/401k.
We are seeking RNs from all throughout the state.
Required qualifications:
Current and unrestricted RN licensure
Minimum of 1 year of experience with geriatric patients (65+)
Recent work experience within the last year
Valid Texas drivers license
