The hospital is certified by The Joint Commission for Chest Pain and Heart Failure and as a Primary Stroke Center. Provides leadership and vision for the Chest Pain Program in terms of operations, services and patient care, consistent with best practices and evidence based care Leads and directs achievement in the provision of quality care to the identified patient population, working with appropriate staff and physicians. Analyzes data and coordinates implementation of practice changes as needed and develops plan for monitoring ACS, chest pain, AMI patients. Maintains related database. Suggests opportunities to improve the delivery of patient care while researching internal and external organizational benchmarking reports Oversees and facilitates care and follow-up of patients. Leads and facilitates involvement of the staff nurses to ensure compliance of core measures for patients.Texas Health HEB is the recipient of the Silver-Level Beacon Award in the cardiac space - Recognized for successfully demonstrating improved patient outcomes and unit performance.QualificationsThe ideal candidate will possess the following qualificationsEducation:Bachelor's Degree Nursing Req.Experience:5 Years Medical/Surgical Req. .and3 Years Critical Care PreferredLicenses and Certifications:RN - Registered Nurse Upon Hire Req.ACLS/BLS certification Upon Hire PreferredSkillsEffective leadership and interpersonal skills; verbal and written communication skills in English; advanced knowledge of current professional and health care issues and nursing practice. Experience in project management.
