We are currently seeking an Applications Developer Sr to join our team. The ideal candidate will perform custom application development, data and application integration for a Texas hospital s Health Plan information systems, and to devise and design technical requirements and estimate effort. In addition, will be responsible for documentation of well-defined methods, procedures, programs and configurations in the delivery of application services.Responsibilities: Implements design principles to be used in each development assignment. Ensure adherence to best practices and standards Works with Application Architects in the design and review of technical solutions for projects. Defines, documents, and designs technical requirements for custom applications, integrations, and processes Prepares design specifications, implements any required data mapping, including documenting and revising user test plans Ensures specifications adhere to the architecture guidelines and strategy. Documents program code, and bugs in compliance with standards and best practices Collaborates with other team members to iterate both process and database designs based on known application requirements Experienced in MS SQL, T-SQL, SSIS and SSRS build/deploymentRequirements: Experience with Microsoft Visual Studio 2013 / 2015 and SQL Server Database Development(T-SQL) Microsoft SSRS ETL (SSIS, Informatica etc.)Preferred Skills Microsoft Team Foundation Server Agile: Scrum or KanbanSkills: Knowledge at expert level of current application, application and data integration and development techniques Knowledge of relational databases, appropriate programming languages, data structures, server and network, a variety ofoperating systems and multi-tier/web development methods Ability to demonstrate logic, analytical and verbal and written communication skills, team-oriented work habits, goodinterpersonal skills and the ability to adapt to different levels of technical experienceRequired Skills: .NET Frameworks Experience with Microsoft Visual Studio 2013/2015 Web Development (HTML5, ASP.NET, JavaScript, CSS) Web Services (WCF, WEB API) Object Relational Mapping (Entity Framework preferred) SQL Server Database Development(T-SQL) API (SOAP) JSON/XML RESTful ETL (SSIS, Informatica etc.) Experience with Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF), Win Forms, and design patternsPreferred Skills: Microsoft Team Foundation Server Microsoft SSRS Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) Telerek CMS preferred (Sitefinity specifically) Agile: Scrum or Kanban Test Case Creation, Unit TestingEducation:
- H.S. Diploma or GED required
- 8 + years experience as a software developer or software engineer
- 3 + years experience with Microsoft tool set
- Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent work experience in a related field
