Customer Support Representative IPosition Overview: Repair assistance on telephone, video, DSL/broadband, wireless systems trouble. Analyze and interpret data for trouble shooting.Coordinate with other departments on service installations and changes necessary to update billing, plant facilities and other company records.Review and complete all installation and repair related tasks within the billing system. Review and complete forms and reports related to installation and repairs.Responsible for maintaining accurate and complete records and taking any corrective action as needed.This position assist with routine tasks associated with telephone, video, DSL/broadband, wireless systems, and other task assigned by management.Primary Responsibilities: Assist in diagnosis and repair of telephone, video, DSL/broadband, email, wireless systems within the copper, coax and fiber plant. Use and maintain knowledge of billing system and all supportive systems used to assist in diagnosis and repair of telephone, video, DSL l/broadband, email, wireless systems. Assign and dispatch techs on service orders, trouble tickets, maintenance tickets, locates and other necessary tasks.Review reports associated with outside plant tasks and duties. Review and complete all tasks associated with processing and closing service orders, trouble tickets, maintenance tickets, locates and other necessary tasks. Coordinates with other departments on service installations and changes necessary to update billing, facilities and other company records.Completes any installation and repair-related forms and reports.Uses computers and computer operating systems to complete all Outside Plant installation and repair related tasks, forms and reports.May confer with customers and technical support staff to further determine problems and acceptable resolutions.Analyzes and troubleshoots basic technical problems or issues.Collaborate with peers within the Outside Plant, Central Office, Business Office, and other groups on cross-functional projects.Shall perform other duties as assigned within his/her capabilities as determined by management and based on needs of the business.
