Operator in Artificial Lift in Brownfield, Texas.Under direct supervision is
responsible for spooling and banding the electrical power cable utilized on ESP
systems in coordinated effort and procedure with installation engineer and rig
operators. Will conducts all business activities in accordance with Baker
Hughes HSE policies, Legal Compliance requirements and Baker Hughes Core
Values.Essential Responsibilities:
Checks in and out fromwarehouse and maintains the inventory carried in service truck.
Completes all weeklytime sheets and monthly expense reports, abnormal job reports and otherassociated paperwork.
Under generalsupervision is responsible for all aspects of cable services including spoolingand banding electrical power cable utilized on ESP systems in coordinatedeffort and procedure with installation engineer and rig operators.
Spools cable onto cablereel as the tubing is being pulled out of the well.
Bands cable onto tubingas the down unit and tubing are being run into the well.
Maintains cable servicetruck and trailer, performs daily inspections to ensure compliance with DOTregulations.
Assists with cablerepair as needed at the cable repair service center.
Proper completion ofDOT log books, DOT inspection forms, and turn in for office records.
Proficiently performsequipment lay downs as requested by customers and completes paperwork.
Completes daily timesheet and monthly expense report.
Conducts field analysisand tests cable strings after they have come out of the well.
Collects informationduring testing and inspection to provide a customer with recommendations onequipment or cable status. Ability to alternate methods of completingtasks if the set method is not viable and stay within HS&E guidelines.
Qualifications/Requirements:
Preferred Oilfield Experience
Must have valid CDL(Commercial Driver’s License) or able to obtain within 120 days
Artificial lift systemsexperience would be considered an asset
Demonstrateselectrical, electronic or mechanical aptitude; basic knowledge of standardizedprocedures related to equipment maintenance
High school diploma orequivalent
