Urgent need for a Drafter in Brownsville, TX for a large Aerospace, Communication companyWe’re looking for a candidate with AutoCAD experience to update electrical site drawingsAs a Drafter you will:

Update site utility drawings in AutoCAD
Support the design and development of Production Tooling
Work with multi-discipline project teams to develop 3D models to support launch engineering design and analyses
Update existing designs and models to improve manufacturability
Modify existing CAD models and create drawing revisions as required

You will need the following to succeed in this role:

Associate degree in drafting or design
Revit experience to document as-built construction drawings
Experience to model how electrical equipment interferes with factory machinery.
Experience with assembly or repair of complex mechanical components
Experience creating 3D models and 2D orthographic drawings from rough sketches or similar informal input Ability to understand and follow instructions from engineers

This position is subject to ITAR which requires candidates to be a U.S. Citizen, Permanent Resident Alien, or Protected Individual per 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3) or a foreign national eligible to obtain federally mandated authorizations of U.S. export control laws
