CUSTER STATE PARK in CUSTER, SD is seeking SOUS CHEFS for the 2020 Season!
POSITION: Sous Chef Seasonal Job until Nov 1st at one of our 4 picturesque lodges in Custer State Park, SD
INTERESTS: Must be willing to adventure into the stunning Southern Black Hills region of Custer State Park near Custer, South Dakota. QUALIFICATIONS: Prefer candidates available for full season, until Nov 1st, 2020. Seeking candidates with solid line cooking, prep, and production experience. Please note any previous experience in banquet/catering work, including any experience in mobile catering operations. Must be able to work sauté, grill, or broil station with moderate to high volume. Must be able to master and train all cold and hot stations and accommodate seasonal volume. Need supervisory experience directing a small crew on a line. Able to train a diverse staff with varying backgrounds and skills quickly and efficiently. Need inventory, scheduling, and some purchasing experience. Need ability to be self-directed and to accomplish assigned tasks. Must have good knowledge of food safety practices. Need good team skills, high energy, and quality food orientation. Strong communication and professionalism are a must.
