Accounts Payable Clerk

Description We are searching for an Accounts Payable Clerk in Carrollton, Texas. This role centers around managing disbursements for allcompanies, which includes check runs, ACH, and occasional wires. The selected candidate will play a crucial role in conducting a thorough review of what needs to be paid and to which vendor, ensuring efficient and accurate disbursement processes.Responsibilities: Handle all disbursements for various companies in a timely and accurate manner. Coordinate with additional offices for check runs and other disbursement processes. Understand and implement the disbursement process, including controls and positive pay. Assist with cash flow forecasting, specifically regarding when payments will occur throughout the month, quarter, etc. Review vendor setup and manage 1099s and W2s. Collaborate with procurement to conduct analysis and extract necessary data. Compile a disbursement run for proper approvals. Use Microsoft Excel and other data entry tools for efficient invoice processing and account reconciliation. Utilize NetSuite and other tools to enhance the disbursement process. Work closely with other team members to maintain accurate customer credit records and resolve any inquiries.Requirements Construction industry experience highly preferred Experience in Accounts Payable (AP) Skilled in executing Check Runs Familiar with Coding Invoices Experience in Invoice Processing Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel Experience in managing Disbursements Strong attention to detail Excellent organizational skills Ability to work independently and in a team Strong communication skills, both written and verbal Proficient in basic computer software and internet usage Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information Excellent problem-solving abilities Ability to multitask and manage time efficiently Strong ethical standards and high levels of integrity Ability to handle stressful situations and deadline pressures well Ability to work efficiently without compromising accuracy or quality of work.Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
