Primary Functions:iPerform routine assignments requiring a thorough knowledge of computer-aidedi drafting system standards, practices, and techniques.iiiiiiKey Responsibilities:Responsibilities include, but not limited to:iPerform assigned tasks utilizing Brandtis CAD system and other technology tools.Set up and operate CAD equipment, such as Robotic Total Stations (RTS) and GPS Total Stations (GTS) from manufacturers such as Topcon, Trimble, or Leica.Handle and carry CAD equipment on various terrain.Locate and mark points throughout a jobsite for plumbing, electrical, and HVAC.Read drawings and perform layouts according to approved plans on the jobsite.Lift and move materials safely out of the way to mark points needed to make drawings. iCommunicate effectively with others on jobsites about your assigned task and the space needed to complete the task.Perform all work within the confines of Brandtis safety rules and regulations.Perform additional assignments as requested/needed.Qualifications:High school diploma/GEDSolid problem-solving skillsAbility to consistently meet deadlinesiSolid communication skills and ability and desire to work in a team environment1-2 years of CAD training preferred1-2 years of working experience preferredSurvey experience a plusMEPibackground preferred
