Job Description:
- Data Center Hands and Feet Support
- Install and maintain servers and network devices and other data center equipment.
- Racking, stacking, and cabling of network devices, servers and blade enclosures and other data center appliances.
- Replacement of parts like power supplies, switch modules, replacement of blade in chassis.
- Assist with hardware troubleshooting.
- Support data center management teams located remotely with maintenance activities by providing hands and feet support.
- Implement data center management best practices.
- Experience with consoles, KVM, Remote Site gateways etc.
- Prepare and maintain data center inventory.
- Create and maintain rack elevation diagrams.
- Escort and assist third party engineers coming into the data center.
