ACOUSTIC ASSEMBLER 1ST Shift – CEDAR PARK, TXKelly Services has an immediate opening for an Acoustic Assembler in the Cedar Park, TX location. This position is temp to hire, working M-Th, 6am to 4:30pm. Excellent entry level career opportunity!JOB DUTIES1. Following blueprints fill in metal frame for acoustic walls, ceilings or flooring by cutting sheet rock into required dimensions.2. Applies adhesive glue on sheet rock ensuring seams are filled.3. Cuts insulation per required dimensions and inserts into panel on top of glued sheet rock4. Places sheet metal on “filled” panel for walls, ceilings or floorREQUIREMENTS
Work experience using hand tools, drills, and hammers
Work experience using measure tape, calipers, and measuring square
Ability to push, pull, and lift 50lbs on a continuous basis throughout a 10 to 12 hours work shift.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
Willing to work OT.
Preferred: previous manufacturing experience. Preferred: fluent in Spanish and English.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
High School Diploma or GED.
0-2 years of experience on an assembly line.
