ABOUT THE JOB

Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues across ALL systems and components of ALL makes and models, including BOTH gasoline and diesel.

Conduct vehicle inspections and provide recommendations for necessary repairs and required parts.

Collaborate with service advisors to ensure excellent customer service and satisfaction.

Repair or replace faulty parts, including engines, brakes, transmissions, and electrical systems using a combination of your tools and shop-supplied diagnostic equipment/scanners/lifts/etc

Maintain a clean and organized work area as well as accurate records of all services performed on vehicles.

Stay up-to-date with the latest automotive technology and repair techniques.

ABOUT YOU

Five years of proven experience as an automotive mechanic or service technician.

Verifiable history of being a steady, reliable technician. If you prefer to bounce from job to job every year, this isn’t the fit for you.

Strong knowledge across makes, models, and systems, including diagnosing electrical and drivability issues. The ideal candidate will also be comfortable with custom (non-factory) setups, diesel pickups, and have knowledge and experience with front end alignments. Welding skills are also a plus.

Proven track record at service facility diagnosing and repairing electrical systems on gasoline and diesel vehicles.

STRONG and relevant experience with computerized diagnostics skills using the latest equipment (scan tools and lab scopes)

Own your tools and toolbox.

ASE Certifications preferred. You’ll be expected to get and maintain ASE certification while you work here.
