Description
Designing, planning, and implementation of SCADA application across all facets of the manufacturing process. Program and develop HMIs, Servers, PLCs, RTUs, multiplexers, and various sensors. Must be able to resolve complex problems and provide guidance or direction to others as well as to management.Qualifications:• Hands on experience in implementation in one or more SCADA packages (Ignition, CygNet, Wonderware, GE IFIX, Rockwell and Clear SCADA).• Ignition Perspective Certifications and Experience preferred.• Manufacturing, Industrial, and Robotics background preferred.• Familiarity with SCADA system architecture and standard industrial protocols such as Modbus, TCP/IP, OPC UA.• Experience in multiple scripting Languages (i.e. VB, SQL, C#, Java, Python).• Strong PLC / Ladder Logic backgroundResponsibilities:• Design, configure, startup, test, commission, and maintain applications using SCADA software (Ignition, & Ladder Logic).• Design, implement, and sustain dashboards, HMIs, monitoring systems, and automated reporting from within Ignition software and SQL Databases. • Support SCADA system administration, alarm configuration, and other automation applications.• Design, and develop interfaces between SCADA, SQL databases, and other applications.• Develop and maintain long term operation, maintenance, and replacement plans of SCADA system and equipment.• Troubleshoot and repair supervisory control equipment of manufacturing site.• Research, document and apply advanced integrations of operational data with other web based and data-based systems.• Develop and apply analytical tools withing the Ignition, Excel, and query environments.• Manage outside service contracts associated with SCADA hardware and software• Perform special studies and tests and analyze results and trends of tests and determine course of action;• Other duties as may be assigned Requirements HMI, PLC Programming Robert Half Technology matches IT professionals with remote or on-site jobs on a temporary, project or full-time basis.
