DescriptionAccountemps is partnering with one of San Antonio?s most desirable construction companies that is looking to add to their growing team! Company growth has opened the door for an incredible project opportunity in Collections. A friendly staff, with a casual culture, in newly remodeled offices are waiting for you to apply!On a daily basis the Collections Specialist will be responsible for but not limited to the following job duties:Business to Business Collections ( Construction Collection Highly preferred but not required)Partner with sub-contractors, clients and vendors with a sense of urgency in order to collect on past due accountsProcess ACH payments dailyMay process daily invoicing using the AIA format (construction billing)Execute daily processes and controls accurately and in a timely manner; ensuring compliance with Company policies.Communicate with customers for payments due.Operate with a high degree of accuracy and demonstrate the ability to consistently meet deadlines.Experienced in the construction industry or related industryPossess and demonstrate exceptional customer service/communication skillsExperience in AIA billing strongly preferredSpanish speaking a plusIf you have 4+ years as a collections specialist this project is for you! Ability to survey and make decisions regarding customer accounts
Proficiency in credit collections
Commercial collections experience preferred
Microsoft Excel experience
Experience with Microsoft Excel
Comprehensive knowledge of commercial collections
2-3 years of prior high volume collections experience
Excellent oral and written communications skills
AA or BS/BA in Accounting preferred
Prior experience working with accounting software
