Why you'll love this job : The Network Operations team is responsible for creating, designing, deploying, and supporting applications, programs, and software solutions. May include research, new development, prototyping, modification, reuse, re-engineering, maintenance, or any other activities related to software products used internally or externally on product platforms supported by the firm. The Network Operations team are Software Developers who work closely with business partners and / or external clients in defining requirements and implementing solutions. As part of the Enterprise Production Services (EPS) network team, you will work directly with operations and engineering to modernize our existing services and onboard support for new technology. The Lead Network Operations Engineer is a Software Engineering role that specializes in planning, documenting technical requirements, designing, developing, and testing all software systems and applications for DTCC. Works closely with architects, product managers, project management, and end-users in the development and enhancement of existing software systems and applications, proposing and recommending solutions that solve complex business problems.

Your Primary Responsibilities

:
  • Create code/scripts to enhance the value of our services.
  • Automating network operations functions
  • Optimize use of existing tools.
  • Represent team on cross-organizational projects
  • Insure infrastructure stability throughout the network environment
  • Evaluate opportunities for adopting DEVSECOPS
  • Effectively complete complex projects within aggressive time frames
  • Develop and produce timely metrics based on the required management platforms
  • Create a culture of collaboration within team and with key stakeholders
  • Assists in keeping the team's knowledge of our technology landscape current.
  • Actively strives to maintain standards related to Operating Procedures/Processes, Documentation, Technology Evaluation and other areas to maintain effective operations
  • Represents Network Services to Senior Management and Key Customers
  • Collaborate with other automation and development teams to build the next generation ops model.
