Why You'll Love This Job: The Lead Engineer is responsible for performing Release Execution processes in building, monitoring and controlling the migration of software into the QA, UAT and Production environments. Assisting other Release Execution Engineers, reporting metrics to management. They will also ensure compliance with software coding and quality standards. This role requires a solid understanding of release execution processes and products, programming languages and database terminology. The Release Execution team ensures the application code is migrated in a controlled, auditable manner with the least amount of risk to the process and the company in an agile environment.

What you'll do:

Support the direction and strategy of Change and Release Management.
Maintain constructive relationships within and outside the team.
Build or maintain metrics for reporting or dashboards to provide detailed weekly update of team accomplishments for the week.
Be mindful of any potential risk or issues in the process that can negatively impact the business.
Work with Security and Risk teams to monitor the changes planned for Production.
Recommend and implement Continuous Improvement changes to the process.
Ensure on-time delivery of work including monitoring of external and internal dependencies, tracking of progress, and monitoring of project milestone accomplishments.
Oversee the technical quality of the projects by ensuring that key technical procedures, standards, quality control mechanisms, and tools are properly utilized including performing root cause analyses for technical problems and engaging in work product quality review.
Actively participate in the Change Control process by identifying potential scope variances by monitoring work requirements definition, issue resolution, development progress and user sign-off and reviewing change requests.
Coordinating with the DevSecOps and other teams to automate & integrate with the release processes.

Talents Needed for Success:

5-6 years of related experience
Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience
Knowledge of Amazon Web Services/Cloud
Expertise of GIT, Nexus, Jenkins, JIRA
Familiarity with ServiceNow (SNOW) & Solutions Business Manager (SBM)
Familiarity with Build Forge, Deployment Automation (DA) & Dimensions CM
In depth knowledge of APIs
Knowledge of the distributed processing platforms
Knowledge of the software development life cycle
Strong analytical skills
Strong presentation skills

About the Team

The IT Governance and Assurance Department focus on advancing organizational goals through the effective and efficient use of IT, by ensuring IT has the necessary capabilities and controls to enhance the stability of DTCC products. The department will also be responsible for maturing core IT business management and governance capabilities.
