Job Title: Senior Cybersecurity Network EngineerLocation: Fully remote, or on-site in the Dallas, TX areaStatus: Full-time Our client, a global leader in the Financial Services industry, is seeking a Senior Cybersecurity Network Engineer to join their team who protects their organization from cybersecurity risks through world class security architecture, engineering and governance practices. The Network Security team under Cybersecurity Services drives and improves the network security controls and technologies, on-premise and in the cloud for their global organization. The Network Security team partners with other corporate technology teams to design and implement network security standard methodologies across the company.Candidates may reside anywhere in the USA, but be comfortable working on a Central Time Zone schedule. As this employer supports the financial services industry, you must be able to successfully pass a strenuous background check process. You should have experience working in a large corporate environment, FinServ experience would be very helpful, to understand the regulatory aspects of the job. Candidates must be US Citizens or authorized to work for any US based company without sponsorship.The focus areas for the Network Security team are:- Evaluating and implementing network security controls on-premise and in the cloud
- Implementing network security solutions to improve visibility for the Security Operations Center (SOC)
- Influence the network security roadmap for security enhancements & new capabilities to be built
- Change agent to improve upon existing network security gaps, proposes solutions, and takes to resolution
- Research emerging threats and vulnerabilities to aid in the identification of network incidents
- Act as the domain specialist to help guide and shape how network security services are enabled
- Design new certificate management services, integrations and technologies
- Minimum of 6 years of strong Cybersecurity experience across network & public/private cloud security architecture (firewalls, IDS/IPS, network behavior analytics, WAF, DDOS protection, network segmentation, etc.)
- Experience with Cloud methodologies (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS), trends and industry-leading private/public/hybrid cloud vendor offerings and interoperability
- Strong OS (Windows/Linux) security experience
- Working knowledge of Jenkins and Chef would be a great plus, including Agile concepts
- Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience
