As an Associate Director in IT, you will manage the IT Asset Management team playing a critical role in modernizing how we manage hardware assets and the relationships between them. This role provides a unique growth opportunity to use your experience, communication, and problem-solving skills to transform and advance some of our most critical support functions. You and your team will drive the governance of ITAM as well as leveraging newer discovery processes to ensure the most accurate controls are in place. The Associate Director also creates, maintains, and tracks KPI's and identifies controls to measure team effectiveness and adherence to policies and procedures and creates reports to senior management team to provide transparency.

Your Responsibilities:

Lead hardware ITAM team that primarily leverages ServiceNow
Manage the modernization of the ITAM process that builds on an industry standard platform, to gain more insights into relationships and life cycle management, that more effectively help DTCC manage risk
Drive Configuration Management Database (CMDB) data quality and coverage efforts
Collaborate with all engineering teams ensuring they are aware of ITAM capabilities and their responsibilities for their data in the CMDB
Align with Change, command center, and those responsible for life cycle management of their components
Establish and maintain documentation of policies, procedures, job aids, and reports
Ensure process efficiency by implementing the key performance indicators; suggest improvements to the process continuously
Involvement in audit and regulatory reviews
Maintain strong operational controls around ITAM
Strong people leadership is needed to help shepherd the team thru a major transformation

Talents Needed for Success:

Strong communication skills and ability to meet with clients, present to senior management and provide updates to regulators / supervisors
Ability to work across teams to create partnerships that achieve organization goals, and passionate about building an innovative culture
Strong critical thinking, communication and teamwork skills are key to be successful in this role
Minimum of 8 years of related experience, IT delivery and/or support.
Proven track record of leading ITAM functions
Familiarity with Agile methodology
Familiarity with Infrastructure design standards for modular, secure, and resilient applications to drive root cause analysis across the breadth of the enterprise
Strong knowledge and understanding of ServiceNow & ITSM
Experience initiating Continuous Improvement Projects

About the Team

The IT Governance and Assurance Department focus on advancing organizational goals through the effective and efficient use of IT, by ensuring IT has the necessary capabilities and controls to enhance the stability of DTCC products. The department will also be responsible for maturing core IT business management and governance capabilities.
