We have been retained by our client in Dallas, Texas to deliver a Epicor ERP Systems Administrator on a regular full-time, direct-hire basis.

These are technically advanced, very sophisticated, world-class software/hardware products. This manufacturing operation has improved the speed and number of finished products are rolling off the end factory floor every month. This theme is forecasted to continue and increase. Demand is on the increase, also. You will play an integral and key role on this ERP. This ERP is critical to the success of the manufacturing operation.The Epicor System Administrator is responsible for but is not limited to the installation, configuration, operation, performance, and maintenance of the Epicor ERP system hardware and software and related infrastructure This individual will assist, participate and or lead project teams related to delivering solutions for internal / external customer and production support Participate, support and drive projects focused on change and release management activities within the project and application life cycle Participate in technical R&D to enable continuing innovation within the infrastructure through customizations, integrations, add-on functionality and upgrades Research and recommend innovative and automated approaches for system administration tasks Provide advice and recommend actions involving complex issues Perform daily Epicor system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, servers, systems, and key processes, review system and application logs, and verifying completion of scheduled jobs Perform problem management and resolution including root cause analysis of system problems Develop and maintain installation, operational, and configuration procedures Perform ongoing performance tuning, and resource optimization as required Provide support with developing, testing and rolling-out Epicor ERP solutions, bug fixes and system enhancements Actively assist with smooth transitioning of projects from development to production by performing operations activities within the project life cycle Support for Epicor ERP system including troubleshooting and solving incidents, escalate issues to vendors, maintaining user accounts, responding to system outages, starting and stopping servers, installing patches and releases, and monitoring system health Collaborate with Business Analysts, Quality Assurance, Computer System Validation, and other IT and external partners to facilitate execution of ERP solution strategiesBasic Qualifications:- 3+ years of experience supporting Epicor ERP Software enterprise systems support
- 3 years Microsoft SQL Server Database Experience
- Ability to interpret and or discuss technical information with a non-technical audience
- Proficiency in Epicor ERP 9 or Epicor ERP 10 system administration, Microsoft SQL Server, Reports, SSRS, Microsoft Server/Client Systems Support
- Working knowledge of Service Connect, BPM, BAQ, Backup/Restores, Network Printer Administration,
- The role will report to the Sr Director of ERP of manufacturing operations
- Experience working in an Agile environment.
- Experience writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
- Team player, out-of-the-box thinker, and self-learner.
- Good interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
- Strong time management skills.
