Job Description
Lead Cloud Security Engineer Full-time, Onsite 40% Dallas, TX, Tampa, FL, or McLean, VA Compensation commensurate with experience Our client, a global leader in the Financial Services industry, is seeking a Lead IT Security Engineer Cloud Security Engineering to work in a team that designs world class cloud security architecture to protect its data. You will evaluate, design and implement cloud security controls in their multi-cloud environments. This role is focused on building a strong Azure and AWS cloud security framework aligned to industry best practices and standards; driving security-first attitude across the enterprise, thus improving accountability, security, scalability, and increasing business agility. You will be tasked with the responsibility of researching & evaluating new cloud security technologies and creating roadmaps to put them into production; looking for ways to automate things; creating information to be included in playbooks, and evaluating and creating cloud security baselines and implement monitoring tools and practices. Happily, you won't be working alone! You'll be working cross-functionally with other departments to increase the security posture of cloud services thru improved security and standard methodologies. Required skills & experience:- Strong Information Security experience, especially in public cloud environments (AWS and Azure) engineering, design, implementation and documentation
- Experience using cloud security tools such as Aquasec, Inspector, and Dome9
- Industry-standard Information Security frameworks, policies and procedures
- One or more of the following certifications: Cloud (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform), CISSP
- 4 Year degree or higher in Computer Science, Cybersecurity or a related field
- Cloud computing experience with Azure, Google Cloud Platform and Containerization is preferred.
- Experience in an Agile environment where feedback, proper delegating, inclusive leadership and coaching are valued.
