Software Testing QA Lead on a regular full-time, direct-hire basis. These are technically advanced, very sophisticated, world-class software/hardware products. Job Overview:Our client is seeking a Software Testing QA Lead that wants to be a very hands-on leader, playing an interactive role in a fast-paced environment. In addition to managing a team of three to four QA team members, the Software Testing QA Lead will also oversee the creation and execution of exploratory tests. Some of the Software Testing QA Lead s responsibilities will include estimating, planning, and coordinating testing activities around both current and upcoming software releases. A major first task will be to oversee the migration of test plans and test cases into Azure DevOps ( TFS / Team Foundation Server / Visual Studio Team System / VSTS now in the Azure cloud.)Basic Qualifications:- 5-7 years of QA experience testing Windows software applications.
- 4-5 years writing and executing test plans and test cases
- 2+ years of Azure DevOps (TFS/VSTS)
- 1-2+ years of leadership, supervision or management experience.
- Experience working in an Agile environment.
- Experience writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
- Team player, out-of-the-box thinker, and self-learner.
- Good interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
- Strong time management skills.
- Previous experience migrating test cases from one test management software to another, would be a plus. In this case, moving of test cases from any test management test tool/suite to Azure DevOps.
- Familiar with CI/CD processes.
- Understanding the role that data and metrics play in the quality space.
- Advanced hands-on experience in building automated regression testing capabilities using current technologies.
- Previous experience migrating test cases from one test management software to another, would be a plus. In this case, moving of test cases from any test management test tool/suite to Azure DevOps.
