Security Engineering and Operations manages and maintains solutions which collect, monitor and report IT security-relevant data to enable a couple of key actions: Technology Risk Management teams to detect and mitigate cyber security events Enable IT to address vulnerabilities in the infrastructure and be compliant to corporate security policies The Security Engineer role within the Cybersecurity Services domain offers the opportunity to participate in security engineering efforts to evaluate, design, deploy and configure security solutions to protect from security threats. Security Engineer will focus on evaluating network/system vulnerabilities and recommending solutions to resolve vulnerabilities.

Your talents needed for success Prior experience in information security domains covering any of the following: Security Information & Event Management (SIEM), Vulnerability Management, Application security management, Red team security assessment etc. In depth knowledge of Operating Systems (Linux/Windows), technology/web platforms (Server, Network, Application, Cloud) Strong scripting and programming knowledge with good understanding of language fundamentals (Python, PowerShell, Chef, Perl, Ruby etc.) Good understanding of network and infrastructure (Networking protocol knowledge is an advantage- TCP/IP, HTTP, HTTPS, DNS, firewalls, proxies, IDS, IPS etc.) Hands on experience with security specifications, not limited to threat detections/analysis, security investigations, logging/monitoring of logs, end point security, penetration testing, firewall and content filtering, data encryption, data loss prevention etc. Prior expertise with forensic tools, security technologies ((Nessus, Qualys, Wireshak, Nmap, Splunk, McAfee Enterprise Security Manager, IBM Qradar, Fireeye, ArcSight) Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate and partner with business and senior leaders Demonstrated "security approach" with the ability to question security status to mature relevant controls Good documentation and presentation skills Note: Responsibilities of this role are not limited to the details above Preferred Qualifications & Skills Security certification (CEH, CCSP, CISSP,SANS, OSCP) and ITIL V3 certification is a plus Experience in threat hunting, threat modelling and threat intelligence Basic knowledge on information security best practices OR frameworks/standards( ISO27K, PCI, NIST, OWSAP 10,GDPR, HIPAA) Experience with Agile framework OR with any of the ticketing tools (ServiceNow, BMC Remedy, JIRA, RSA Archer etc.) can add value Security knowledge within public cloud environment (AWS/Azure) Prior software development experience in Java,.Net, SQL, C, C etc and familiar with SDLC methodology Advanced troubleshooting skills with expertise to system changes, system health monitoring and log analysis, malware analysis Ability to prioritize multiple projects and deliver on timely manner Strong partnership ability to work with internal, external partners and vendors Understanding of IT risks and controls, familiarity with risk management framework

Qualifications Minimum of 6 years of related experience Bachelor's degree preferred with Masters, or equivalent experience
