Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc., (SGA), is searching for a Lead Cloud Engineer for a Contract assignment with one of our premier Financial Services clients in Coppell, TX. Responsibilities :
- Focus on supporting the suite of products and services offered by the DevSecOps team. This includes public cloud and private cloud solutions.
- Identify bugs with existing automated solutions and implement fixes.
- Perform administration of our automation tools including but not limited to: user access, monitoring environment health, performing application upgrades, designing infrastructure to meet capacity, performance, and availability needs, providing knowledge transfer to level one support teams, opening support cases with vendor and escalation as needed.
- 2-3 years experience developing or supporting automation tools and solutions as a Team Lead, leveraging Infrastructure as Code and/or Orchestration automation
- Strong knowledge of AWS services
- Strong knowledge of the Red Hat Linux Platform
- Ability to read code and scripting languages in order to support automated solutions.
- Good communication skills
- Strong troubleshooting skills
- Willingness to take ownership of problems and see them through to resolution
- Strong work ethic and a continuous improvement mindset who will help identify pain points and inefficient processes and implement creative automated solutions to solve them
- Experience with HP Operations Orchestration or HP Server Automation
- Experience supporting Chef Infrastructure Server or coding Chef Cookbooks
- Working knowledge of Agile practices
- Experience with Linux Shell Scripting, Python, Groovy
