Texas Health Resources System Services is seeking a Materials Tech PRN to work “as needed.”The current address is 6317 Harris Parkway, 5 th floor, Fort Worth, TX 76104This position will start at the Fort Worth location then relocate to Corinth, TX in approximately a monthSalary range is Min $13.41/hour - Max $20.21/hour – based on relevant experienceThis position does not include medical benefitsWork SchedulePRN “as needed” 2 nd ShiftMonday, Wednesday and Friday 1pm-5pm and may work additional days and hours as neededJob DutiesPerforms various Warehouse/Storeroom tasks including, receiving, stocking, filing of delivery paperwork/documents, including but not limited to:Appropriate goods and/or services are accurately received into appropriate system.Shelves/inventory items are stocked daily with incoming goods.Non-stock items are delivered on a timely basis to the requesting department.Daily inventory orders and backorder releases are pulled and delivered to the requesting department.Daily par-level areas are counted and refilled.Assists with returning items to the vendor and with the shipment of repairs, etc.Deliver items on the same day the order arrives.All items are inspected with damaged goods being documented and reported immediately to the appropriate buyer and/or vendor.Assists with the removal of expired supplies and appropriate documentation and ensuring the integrity of sterile supplies.Customer Service:Answers the phone, returns calls, pagers and assists departments with questions, concerns and special requests.QualificationsThe ideal candidate will possess the following qualificationsEducationHigh School Diploma or equivalent requiredExperienceOne year of relevant experience in materials management preferred andOne year customer service experience preferredExperience manually pulling large orders and loading freight using pallet jack and carts in all weather conditions preferredMedical terminology helpfulSkillsAbility to meet time standards required by position. Basic computer, reading and writing skills. Good communication and organizational skills.
