Job Description
James Kim, a native of South Korea, moved to Corpus Christi in 1995 to fulfill his dream of bringing fresh, traditional sushi to the South Texas area. In 2002, his dream was realized when Aka Japanese Steak House opened in Corpus Christi, TX. Aka continues to delight locals of the coastal bend with their specialty rolls and Korean family specialities.
We are currently looking for motivated individuals to join our family.
Open positions for Servers, Bussers, Sushi Chefs, Line Cooks, Dish Washers, Host/ Hostess
Lunch Service from( 11:30am - 2:00pm ) Dinner Service from ( 5:00pm - 10:00pm )
For Servers : Previous experience at Japanese Restaurant, or have an extensive knowledge of Japanese food helpful but not required.
For Sushi/Line Cooks: Minimal one year cooking experience. We are willing to Train and Grow you.
For Bussers, Dish Washers, and Host/Hostesses: No experience needed.
