Sushihana Contemporary Japanese Restaurant is currently seeking a Sushi Chef with the following:
Must have some experience as a Sushi Chef (willing to train the right candidate) with an understanding in all sushi preparations including sushi, sashimi and maki.
Must have knife skills
Knowledge of all sushi related products
Ability to work a full-time schedule
The desire to interact with guests in a professional and courteous manner
Passion, humility, and the ability to take direction is a MUST!
Prepare, present and inspect all menu items in a timely manner while ensuring quality, portion control, and plate presentation
Must be able multi-task in a fast-pace restaurant
Ensure food safety procedures by adhering to policy and health regulations
Maintain fast accurate service, positive guest relations, and ensure all products are consistent with Sushihana standards.
