Advance EMS, Ltd. is looking to add a Wheelchair Van driver to our hard working Field Personnel crew:
Description:
Carefully & safely transport non-critical wheelchair patients to their doctor's appointments between Houston & Surrounding areas. Following company standards and assist company with any available projects.
Operate wheelchairs including but not limited to lifting and pushing, pulling, basic assemble and dissemble.
Complete required documentation and acquire signatures on assigned computer device while keep confidentiality of patient information in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
Obey traffic laws and reports any incidents.
Daily checkup and maintenance of assigned equipment and vehicle, and report any issues.
Requirements:
Able to work with computers and tablets.
MUST be at least 21 yrs old
Clean Driving & background records
Bilingual is a plus
Good knowledge of Corpus Christi area and its main healthcare facilities
Able to find addresses and directions using key maps or GPS
Compassionate with patients and respectful of others
Must have good communication skills
Must be able to lift up to 125 lbs without any restrictions
Must have open availability
