DescriptionOur client in Northwest Houston has a need for an Accounts Payable Clerk to join their dynamic team on a temporary to full-time basis. The right Accounts Payable Clerk will have 3+ years of AP experience and will be responsible for intercompany AP, reviewing work orders, processing checks and ACH payments, coding invoices to the GL accounts, and cutting checks weekly. This is a great opportunity for an AP Clerk to join a growing company with great employee perks (paid lunches, 100% paid medical benefits, jeans, etc.) The company currently uses QuickBooks which is a requirement. AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting, Business or similar preferred
QuickBooks experience
Accounts Payable (AP) experience desired
Strong communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills, especially with both technical and financial backgrounds
Attention to detail and proven ability to follow standard procedures is a requirement
Working knowledge of spreadsheets and databases
Prior experience in an A/P role preferred
