Application Performance Monitoring (APM-NewRelic) Engineer; Dallas TX; long term contract
Must Have:- 5+ years experience with application performance monitoring.
- 2+ years experience scaling/monitoring microservices systems (Java and Spring boot with preference to high-transaction environments)
- 3+ years experience using commercial and/or open source NewRelic APM tools (Must have experience with NRQL)
- Experience with scripting languages.
- Experience with DevOps tools (e.g. Jenkins)
- 2+ years Performance testing and tuning experience.
- 1+ year experience using performance tools like JProfiler, JProbe, etc. along with familiarity with web load-simulation tools desired.
- Self-motivated, able to learn and research issues independently with a keen eye to details
- Must be passionate about wanting to make the software performance better
- Good analytical and problem solving skills
- Good understanding of memory and CPU utilization, throughput, latency, etc. Experience with profiling and heap analysis tools
- Good understanding of Linux, Solaris, JVMs
