TITLE: Cloud Engineer Location: Remote in the U.S.
ICS is hiring for Cloud Engineers to join our client's virtual Cloud team to support their public cloud environments for their global market! This Cloud Engineer will be a part of a team of 10+ engineers who are responsible to operate and maintain customer-facing applications to production environments in a standardized way, across the company's state of the art datacenters and within multiple public clouds. They should have no problem rolling up their sleeves to aid the teams to deliver, helping gather requirements or diving deep into data modelling with business analysts. What You'll Do:- Work collaboratively with other operations leads to implement and maintain company's products and projects in public cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform, and OCI
- Refine and transform operational processes in highly available enterprise class systems
- Participate in an on-call rotation along with other senior members of the Global IT Operations team.
- Provide engineering execution excellence, as well as technical vision and direction, to ensure the public cloud team is aligned with the strategy of the company
- Create and deliver executive and C-level presentations to support buy-in and communicate goals.
- Bachelor's degree (B.S.) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Technology Systems, Business Administration, or minimum of 5-7 years of applicable experience.
- Cloud Certification in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
- 5 or more years of in systems administration, engineering, or DevOps with a demonstrated focus on application and infrastructure automation in the public cloud.
- 3 or more years Designing and deploying AWS Services like Elastic Compute (EC2), Storages (S3, EBS, EFS, Glacier and AWS Storage Gateway), EKS, VPC, IAM, ECS, Kinesis, Amazon Connect, CloudWatch, Cloud Trail and RDS.
- 2 or more years in public cloud governance, maturity, and optimization
- 3 or more years' experience working in teams of 5+, containing multiple multi-disciplined agile teams
- Experience migrating large environments to/from public cloud
- Experience with container platforms like Docker
- Strong understanding of Linux operating systems (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu, SuSE)
- Programming experience with shell and scripting languages like Bash, Python, Perl, PowerShell
- Strong understanding of system and networking concepts and troubleshooting techniques
- Ability to work on complex projects with general direction and minimal guidance.
