Raytheon Intelligence & Space (RI&S) is seeking an entry-level program planning professional to join the Integrated Program Planning department in the North Texas Area (Dallas and surrounding areas) . The candidate will be responsible for assisting the lead scheduler (or functioning as lead scheduler) with schedule management and analysis, as well as other Program activities for the Program Planning Department. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Creation and maintenance of program Integrated Master Schedule (IMS).
Assist in planning, scheduling and cost estimating tasks.
Perform analyses and prepare reports to assist in ensuring that programs meet or exceed schedule commitments.
Participate in the preparation of schedules for all contract work and perform and/or assist in analyses such as critical path, schedule risk and variance analysis.
Incorporate contractual and programmatic changes into the IMS in order to maintain realistic, current contract schedule baselines
Required Skills:
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Powerpoint) and use of Information Technology
Demonstrated communication and interpersonal skills
Sound presentation skills
Understanding of process flows/flowcharting
Detail oriented with the ability to thrive in deadline oriented environment
Experience working in a team oriented environment
This position requires a U.S. person or the ability to obtain an Export Authorization from the appropriate government agency for non-U.S. persons
U.S Citizenship status is required as this position may need a U.S. Secret Security Clearance within 1 year of start date.
Desired Skills:
Basic skills in project planning, business management budgeting, data analysis, and reporting
Awareness of project management business systems and related planning software (e.g. Microsoft Project)
Familiarity with Statistical Methods and Analysis
Awareness of planning and program products created as part of the planning process (e.g. Integrated Master Plans/Schedules, Product Breakdown Structures and Work Breakdown Structures)
Awareness of Earned Value Management System or similar business process, Risk Mitigation, and Six Sigma
Ability to balance cost/technical/schedule constraints to achieve customer satisfaction
Ability and willingness to support in the North Texas area.
Active Secret or Top Secret Security Clearance
Required Education (including Major):
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or college, preferably in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Engineering, Information Technology or related field of study
This position requires either a U.S. Person or a Non-U.S. Person who is eligible to obtain any required Export Authorization.
