Stefanini is looking for a Application Support Analyst in Dallas, TX Responsibilities:Provides application software development services or technical support typically in a defined project.Develops program logic for applications or analyzes and modifies logic in existing applications.Codes, tests, debugs, documents, implements and maintains software applications.Analyzes requirements, and maintains, tests and integrates application components.Ensures that system improvements are successfully implemented.The Systems Analyst is responsible, with direction from management, for supporting the overall strategy of these solutions.

Qualifications:Solid knowledge of analysis, design, coding, implementation, and maintenance techniques to provide technical support of large, complex multi-platform environments.Thorough knowledge of change management, performance tuning, monitoring, problem diagnostics, root cause analysis, contingency planning, FRB business functions and technical interdependencies.Skills to review and clarify user change and support requirements, and recommend optimum technical and customer support strategies.The ability to collaborate with other team members, and members of other groups, ability to influence others and gain support for ideas and action plans.The ability to think strategically and attain goals by engaging other staff members and other groups within the organization.Strong motivational skills to direct team members, staff and customers through relationships of trust, commitment and respect.Intermediate analysis and decision making skills.With a moderate degree of independence, evaluates and analyzes complex problems and issues related to the systems.Makes decisions and recommendations related to multiple systems.Decisions require sound judgment, innovation and creative thinking.Intermediate organizational, analytical, verbal and written communication skills to participate in projects and to provide good communications about the status of issues.Good personal computer and related software skills to prepare spreadsheet and graphic illustration documents for management as well as knowledge of Microsoft tools -Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access required.Must be able to work with a moderate level of supervision, accepts responsibility, and takes ownership to ensure objectives and goals are being achieved. Workload management skills will be helpful to successfully handle quickly changing priorities, relationships. Must be able to assist in major projects. Intermediate organizational skills as well as pattern recognition skills to stay organized and oriented when working on problems or dealing with day to day issues. Bachelors Degree with course work in computer science or management information systems preferred or an equivalent combination of education and job-related work experience to equal 1 - 3 years of information services work.
