Join us and start doing your life’s best work. SMThis Arbitration Administrative Support is responsible for providing support to the Arbitration Specialist team. This support would include, but not limited to, the following: obtainment of client approval to arbitrate, preparation of contention supports, verification of claims against client payment transactions, tracking of filing dates within Troveris for arbitration log, submission of application to appropriate arbitration venue, and processing recoveries.Training will be conducted virtually from your home. This position is full-time (40 hours/week) Monday - Friday. Employees are required to have flexibility to work any of our 8-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of 8:00am – 5:00pm. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime or weekends.All Telecommuters will be required to adhere to UnitedHealth Group’s Telecommuter Policy.Primary Responsibilities:Assist in obtainment of client approval.

Prepare contention support packets.

Verify actual client payment transactions against evidence.

Maintain Troveris Arbitration database to track stages of arbitration event.

Submit arbitration application to appropriate venue.

Validate within 24 hours that application was received by appropriate venue and obtain filing / hearing dates.

Obtain or request appropriate documentation (i.e.: police, fire, investigation reports, photos, recorded statements, etc…) as needed at Arbitration Specialist direction.

Record awards within Troveris through projections or closure of event and track timely payments from 3P carriers.

Maintain arbitration-only client invoices for fee collection.

Produce illustration diagrams that support Examiner & Arbitration Specialist Theory of Liability, as needed.

Manage the transcription of all Examiner & Arbitration Specialist events.

Provide assistance as needed to expedite Arbitration process.

1+ years of related job experience in claims

Telecommuting Requirements:Required to have a dedicated work area established that is separated from other living areas and provides information privacy

Ability to keep all company sensitive documents secure (if applicable)

Must live in a location that can receive a UnitedHealth Group approved high-speed internet connection or leverage an existing high-speed internet service

Soft Skills:Above average communication skills, particularly telephone, and organizational skills.

Ability and judgement to apply procedures or operate varied equipment requiring a moderate degree of training or experience.

Ability to generate imaginative work or ideas which affect simple, routine activities.
